The Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (Ceapi) will hold the ‘Madrid, capital of Ibero-American internationalisation’ Forum in Madrid next Monday, the 17th, in which company presidents, business families, investors and family offices from Spain and Latin America will focus on the investment opportunities offered by the Spanish capital.
According to Ceapi, the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, will open the meeting, and Javier Fernández-Lasquetty, Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid, will close it. The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, will preside over the gala dinner following the event.
The meeting, in the words of the president of Ceapi, Núria Vilanova, “aspires to mark a before and after in the relations between presidents of Ibero-American companies and family offices, with Madrid as a meeting point”.
“This city is becoming the new Miami. It is the headquarters of Ibero-American companies, protected by the law and mechanisms of the European Union; the platform for investing in Europe and, from here, working on the globalisation of companies”, Vilanova emphasised.
The event, which will take place at IE Tower, the new Madrid headquarters of IE Business School, will be attended by numerous Latin American investors.
Among the speakers at this forum are important personalities from the business world such as Luis Amodio, President of OHLA; Miguel Arrufat, CEO of UNIR; Javier Cárdenas, President of Rhino Equiment; and Marilyn Cochamanidis, President of Alto Las Palmas.
