On Saturday 8 October the Poetas Festival returns to the Instituto Goethe in Madrid, after a brief silence and with a new spirit that takes up a past of poetry, music and mystery and also moves towards a future of mystery, music and poetry.
In this sixteenth edition, its programme is organised in the form of a labyrinth, along three thematic routes that are born from the return to the origin of culture to question the origin of inspiration and the enhancement of rhythm, dance and words. Since its beginnings, the Poets Festival has been encouraging dialogue between the arts in order to extract their poetic memory with a view to the present.
The festival takes place simultaneously in three of the Institute’s spaces, a room, the garden and the auditorium, and in an outdoor space in the city, which will be unveiled in the afternoon. It will start at four in the afternoon and last until midnight, offering a melting pot of proposals ranging from the traditional to the most avant-garde. Tickets will have a single price of five euros and can be purchased from this moment on the festival’s website. The full programme can be consulted here.
