Next Saturday 1 October at 9 p.m., the pianist and composer Alejandro III will give a concert at the Rincón del Arte Nuevo (Calle Segovia, 17), with the collaboration of the singer Natalia Salguero, also known as Naya Salanto, and a few more surprises.
Alejandro III (Alejandro Tercero Roldán) is a pianist and composer from Madrid. His influences range from Spanish classical (Albéniz, Granados, Falla) to contemporary minimalism (Yann Tiersen, Pascal Comelade or Philip Glass), including the flamenco-jazz of pianists such as Dorantes, Chano Domínguez or Felipe Campuzano. This universe halfway between the traditional and the childish, the traditional and the avant-garde, the flamenco and the universal, the piano and the toys, the fire of his heart and the tears of those who listen to him make each show a different, unique and wonderful experience that will leave no one indifferent. His creative side is a living spontaneity, free of rules and prejudices imposed by society. A unique artist, different, who plays with so much energy, so much passion, that you can’t help but feel it.
Alejandro III’s shows can be solo or in the company of jazz singers and/or classical dancers. In addition to his own compositions, Alejandro’s repertoire includes a wide range of covers covering musical genres as diverse as blues, jazz, flamenco, Arabic music, rumba, classical music, pasodoble or rock, among others, adapted to his personal style. It is possible to adapt this repertoire to the needs of each event, prioritising the versions over his own compositions or vice versa and focusing the concert around a specific musical theme.
