Jens Kisling, Denmark’s ambassador to Spain, will leave his post in the coming weeks, after four years in our country, to take up a position in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kinsling will be replaced at the head of the embassy in Madrid by Michael Braad, who until now was Under-Secretary for Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Braad has previously served as Denmark’s ambassador to Greece and Cyprus from 2015 to 2018. He was also Chief Advisor for Foreign Policy and National Security in the Danish Prime Minister’s Office.
