‘K.O. Auschwitz’ or how to survive by boxing among Nazis

July 5, 2022
in Leisure

Written by journalist José Ignacio Pérez, K.O. Auschwitz tells the harrowing story of the prisoners who had to box in order to survive in Auschwitz, an account conceived with the memories of Noah Klieger, Tadeusz Pietrzykowski, Jacko Razon, Judah Vandervelde, Solomon Roth, Salamo Arouch, Andrzej Rablin… and many more.

Centro Sefarad-Israel is offering the opportunity to win a copy of the book by answering the following question correctly: What is the birthplace of the boxer Salamo Arouch, whose life is one of those inspired by the book? Answers should be sent by 26 July to centro@sefarad-israel.es along with the entrant’s name and telephone number. The winner will be announced on 27 July via the @SefaradIsrael Twitter account.
