The Peruvian Ambassador to Spain, Óscar Maúrtua, was received yesterday by the State Secretary for International Cooperation, Pilar Cancela, at the headquarters of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
During the meeting, according to the Embassy, Maúrtua stressed the importance of Spanish Cooperation, especially in the areas of gender, innovation, heritage recovery and health, after the COVID-19 pandemic. For her part, Cancela assured that Peru is a priority country for Spanish Cooperation and that both countries will continue to work to strengthen ties of friendship and mutual collaboration.
