As part of the cycle Those Wonderful Years, the Fundación Casa de México is screening today and next Monday at 7pm the film A cambio de nada (In Exchange for Nothing), directed in 2015 by Daniel Guzmán and starring Miguel Herrán, Antonio Bachiller, Luis Tosar, María Miguel and Antonia Guzmán, among others. This cycle focuses on contemporary films that tell the stories of adolescence and youth.

Darío, a sixteen-year-old boy, enjoys life with Luismi, his neighbour and soulmate. They maintain an unconditional friendship and together they have discovered everything they know about life. Darío suffers the separation of his parents and runs away from home, fleeing from his family hell. He starts working in Caralimpia’s workshop, an old delinquent who teaches him the trade and the benefits of life… Darío meets Antonia, an old woman who collects abandoned furniture with her motorbike cart and with her he discovers another way of looking at life. Luismi, Caralimpia and Antonia become his new family in a summer that will change their lives.
