‘Yonquis del dinero’: Ten great stories of Valencian political corruption
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

From the 22nd to the 24th of this month, El Teatro del Barrio in Madrid presents the play Yonquis del dinero (Money Junkies), next Friday and Saturday (10.15pm) and Sunday (1pm).

On the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary, the company Pot de Plom, with the iconic comedian Xavi Castillo at the helm, presents this monologue, a hilarious journey through the darkest period of Valencian politics, which adapts the book of the same name by Sergi Castillo Prats and reviews ten notorious cases of corruption: the Pope’s visit, Santiago Calatrava, Vicente Sanz, Alfonso Rus, Eduardo Zaplana, Rita Barberá, Carlos Fabra, El Bigotes…

In addition, Teatro del Barrio, in a very modern and European gesture, is offering an Anti Inflation Discount: just by entering the code El Barrio que madruga when buying tickets for any of the July performances, you will receive an 8.1% discount on the ticket price (this is the annual inflation rate forecast by the European Union for Spain). Tickets can be purchased at this link.
