As part of the summer cinema and the Great French Actresses series, the Instituto Francés of Madrid invites you to (re)discover the romantic comedy La delicatesse (La délicatesse), by David and Stéphane Foenkinos, with the famous French actress Audrey Tautou, tomorrow Thursday at 22:00 in its Patio. Screening in the original version with Spanish subtitles.
The film tells the story of how Nathalie loses the man she is madly in love with in an accident. After a period of mourning, she cannot believe that love is knocking at her door again in the form of Markus, a work colleague who has never been successful with women, but who is brimming with kindness and tenderness. A man who, for her, is the return to life.
Audrey Tautou rose to international fame with the title role in the film Amélie (2001), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. She went on to star in several major projects, such as the melodrama Long Sunday Engagement (2004), again directed by Jeunet, and Sophie Neveu in the Hollywood blockbuster The Da Vinci Code (2006).
