Instituto Francés is screening Claude Pinoteau’s film ‘The Party’

As part of the summer cinema and the Great French Actresses series, the Instituto Francés invites you to (re)discover Claude Pinoteau’s film La fête, with the actress Sophie Marceau, tomorrow Thursday at 10pm.

 

Vic is 13 years old and new at school, but she soon makes friends with Penelope. Both are eager to find a boy to fall in love with; the problem is that Vic’s parents won’t let him go to parties. Sophie Marceau, born in 1966, is a French actress, director and writer. As a teenager, Marceau gained popularity with her performance in this film, receiving a César Award for Best Newcomer Actress.
