Tomorrow Wednesday at 7pm, Casa Mediterráneo will screen the documentary Reti Fantasma. Missione Euridice (The Ghost Nets), about the problem of fishing nets in the Gulf of Cefalù. The documentary will be broadcast in Italian/Spanish with English subtitles. Activity open to the public until full capacity is reached.
This documentary is made in collaboration with the Oceanogràfic, Cressi, the University of Valencia and Ogyre. Every year, according to the UN, some 600,000 tonnes of fishing nets are abandoned in the oceans. The project Ghost Nets. Mission Eurydice is promoted by the Spinelli brothers, Andrea, who is part of the Oceanogràfic’s Oceans team, and his brother, Marco, a videomaker and documentary maker who is dedicated to the environment.
