Centro Sefarad-Israel presents the book “The Führer’s Orphans”

David Laws, journalist and writer of several novels, as well as winner of the Yeovil Literary Prize, presents his latest book Los huérfanos del Führer (Roca editorial) tomorrow Thursday at 19.30 at the Centro Sefarad-Israel.

 

This book is a story based on true events, set in Munich during the Second World War. The author will speak at the presentation of this impressive account of 27 Jewish children who managed to escape from the Gestapo. Their parents, unfortunately, did not suffer the same fate. This is a story of overcoming and humanity that features a great diversity of characters who, selflessly, decide to risk their lives in order to save these children.
