Until 17 July at the Sala Margarita Xirgu of the Teatro Español in Madrid, actress Magüi Mira directs Marta Etura and Jorge Bedoya in Irma Correa’s Los nocturnos.
The play deals with the passionate and tragic love story of the French writer George Sand and the Polish musician Frédéric Chopin at the height of French romanticism. The two faced an intolerant and soulless society that they could not survive.
Marta Etura plays George Sand and Jorge Bedoya Frédéric Chopin in a free and radical stage proposal by Magüi Mira, in which both lovers are immersed in the musical torrent of the Nocturnes, performed live by Bedoya. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
