The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, inaugurated this Sunday the Saudi-Spanish Investment Forum in Riyadh to promote the presence of Spanish companies in the ‘giga-projects’ of infrastructures that Saudi Arabia is projecting oriented to tourism, entertainment and production processes of higher added value.
In her speech, Reyes Maroto stressed that Spain “is the world leader in the tourism infrastructure sector” and wants “to be Saudi Arabia’s strategic partner in tourism to help achieve the objectives set out in the Vision 2030 program.” “We have extensive experience in the development of tourism projects and our companies cover the entire value chain,” she added. For the minister, “the high degree of internationalization of the Spanish business sector means that the alliances of Saudi companies with our companies offer excellent opportunities to develop ongoing projects such as Neom, Red Sea or Qiddiya.”
