Tomorrow Wednesday at 8 p.m., in the Church of San Antonio de los Alemanes in Madrid (Calle de la Puebla, 22), there will be a Charity Concert in aid of Ukraine with the Polish organist Jerzy Kukla (in the photo) as guest artist.
The event is supported by the Polish and Ukrainian Embassies, the Brotherhood of Refuge and Mercy of Madrid, the Polish Foundation Dar dla potrzebujących and the Instituto Polaco de Cultura. All the money raised from tickets and Fila Zero will be donated to the Fundación Dajmy Nadzieję in Lviv (Ukraine) (Fila Zero: Bizum Code 01819. Concept: concert 01.06). A minimum donation of €10 will be required.
Organist, organist, conductor and music promoter Jerzy Kukla will perform pieces by Yuri Shevchenko (1953-2022), Feliks Nowowiejski (1877-1946); Louis Claude Daquin (1694-1771); Cesar Franck (1822-1890); Georgiy Kurkov (1954-); Myroslav Skoryk (1938-2020) and Mieczysław Surzyński (1866-1924).
