Tomorrow Tuesday at 19.45, the Cine Embajadores in Madrid (Glorieta de Santa María, 5) starts, in collaboration with the Hungarian Embassy, the Hungarian Film Series, with the screening of the film Daniel takes the train. Before the screening, Hungarian wine and pogács, Hungarian bread rolls stuffed with cheese, will be offered to the audience.
The screening will be introduced by Márton Fábián, professor of literature and history, and Gergő Tóth, Hungarian lecturer at the UCM.
In December 1956, a chaotic situation arises in Hungary. The revolution is put down by the Soviet army. People leave the country en masse, fearing revenge. A young soldier (Gyuri Angeli), who also took part in the revolution, takes a train to Vienna with his friend (Dániel Szerencsés). Special price of 3.5 euros. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
