The Diplomat
The Israeli Embassy in Spain celebrated last Wednesday, May 4, the 74th anniversary of the Independence of Israel, with a show that brought together photography, music and gastronomy of both countries to also celebrate the 36th anniversary of their bilateral relations.
Previously, the Israeli ambassador, Rodica Radian-Gordon, underlined in a brief speech that the many solid ties between the two countries demonstrate the good health of bilateral relations, established in 1986 on the basis of a long shared history.
Representing the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director General for the Maghreb, Mediterranean and Middle East, Alberto Ucelay, expressed Spain’s desire to further deepen these relations at all levels.
The COLORFOOD show brought together the work of Spanish chefs Pablo Fernández del Rio and Manuel Berganza and Israeli chef Yogev Yheros, among others, with classical pieces by Manuel de Falla and Joaquín Rodrigo.
In these links you can see the result of this work of the prestigious culinary photographer, Dan Lev, who has had the collaboration of a dozen Spanish and Israeli chefs.
