The Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid will be the setting for the concert organised by the Fundación Excelentia on 11 April at 19.30, in which J. S. Bach’s Mattahus Passion, one of the most emblematic works of classical music, will be performed.

The Sociedad Coral Excelentia de Madrid and the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia will perform this work under the baton of conductor Alexander Znamensky, accompanied by Martina Fender, soprano; Theresa Kronthaler, mezzo-soprano; Manuel Günther, tenor; Klemens Sander (Jesus), and Stefan Hadžić, baritone.

And on 7 April at 19.30 hours at the Club Monteverdi (C/ Almagro 36, 1st floor) a pre-conference on the Bachian work will be given by Carlos de Matesanz (Programme Director of Radio Clásica). To request to attend the lecture, please send an email to reservas@fundacionexcelentia.org. Tickets for the concert can be purchased at this link.
