Laila Ripoll, artistic director of the Fernán Gómez. Centro Cultural de la Villa, presented last Wednesday the exhibition Antonio Gades. Tierra, mar y fuego, a complete retrospective on the career of this dancing artist that will be on until 29 May.

The exhibition is curated by María Esteve, president of the Fundación Antonio Gades; Eugenia Eiriz, general director of the Fundación Antonio Gades; and Ana Berruguete, director of Exhibitions at La Fábrica.

This exhibition reviews and reviews the dance work of the dancer and choreographer, from his origins to his current legacy, paying special attention to three major concepts that nourish his career and become the guiding thread of the exhibition discourse: his roots in the land, his love for the sea and his passion represented as fire. Through them, a chronological and thematic journey is proposed that will guide the visitor through the choreographic, scenic and filmic universe of Antonio Gades.
