Vallejo offers Martinez Almeida more cultural participation of Ecuador in Madrid

The Ambassador of Ecuador to Spain, Andres Vallejo, expressed to the Mayor of Madrid, Jose Luis Martinez Almeida, during a protocol visit to the City Hall, his desire to promote a greater Ecuadorian presence in the cultural activity of the capital, through the cession of spaces to the Ecuadorian community.

 

The mayor, who welcomed the proposal, also offered the ambassador the assignment of the Crystal Palace Pavilion of the Casa de Campo for the celebration of the next elections of the members of the Council of Citizen Participation, scheduled for February 5, 2023. He also offered to evaluate the possibility of illuminating with the colors of the Ecuadorian flag the Plaza de Cibeles, on the occasion of the Bicentennial of the country’s Independence, next May 24.
