The pianist Ain Yoon will give a concert organised by the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in collaboration with the Círculo de Bellas Artes on 27 April at 7 p.m., as part of the Classical Music Series Korea 2022. The event will take place at the Teatro Fernando de Rojas of the Círculo. The Korean pianist will perform six pieces by the composers Mozart and Liszt, and among the works to be performed will be Rhapsodie espagnole, dedicated to the Spanish public.
Ain Yoon, born in South Korea, demonstrated her exceptional talent for the piano at a very early age: she performed her first recital at the age of four and her first concerto with orchestra at the age of eight. She began her studies with the legendary Georgian pianist Eliso Virsaladze at the age of twelve and, a year later, recorded her first solo album. Ain Yoon has won prizes in national and international competitions. An emerging pianist, she has performed as a soloist and in orchestra format in countries such as Korea, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Italy.
Her concert is part of the Classical Music Cycle, a programme created in 2018 and organised by the Centro Cultural Coreano in Spain with the aim of expanding the knowledge of Korean performers in Europe. A programme that is enriched every year with artists from Korea and concerts in Spain, and which returns to the stage with this recital.
