This weekend, the Club Monteverdi presents two tributes to jazz, Louis Armstrong’s New Orleans (this evening at 8 p.m.) and composer Glenn Miller, in the photo (tomorrow at 8 p.m.), organised by the Fundación Excelentia.
This evening’s special concert has Louis Armstrong as its main exponent. With a trumpet and voice quintet, guitar, double bass, drums and saxophone, a journey through the music that marked the early years of the 20th century will take place.
For his part, the protagonist of tomorrow’s concert is one of the great geniuses of swing, the virtuoso American trombonist, big band director, composer and arranger, Glenn Miller.
