His Majesty the King received the new Ibero-American Secretary General, Andrés Allamand, yesterday at the Zarzuela Palace, in what was the first audience since the Chilean politician took office in mid-February.
The former Chilean Foreign Minister was chosen on 26 November during the meeting of Ibero-American foreign ministers to fill the vacancy left by Rebeca Grynspan.
According to the Royal House, Allamand went to the Zarzuela Palace accompanied by the Secretary of State for Ibero-America, the Caribbean and Spanish in the World, Juan Fernández-Trigo.
