As part of the festival Ellas crean 2022, this evening at 8pm, the Instituto Francés of Madrid is screening the film Proxima, directed in 2019 by Alice Winocour and starring Eva Green, Matt Dillon, Lars Eidinger and Sandra Hüller, among others.
Sarah is a French astronaut training at the European Space Agency in Cologne. She is the only woman in the demanding programme. She lives alone with her seven-year-old daughter Stella. Sarah feels guilty about not being able to spend more time with her daughter. Her love is overwhelming, disturbing.
