As part of its Great Performers Series, the Fundación Scherzo presents the young pianist prodigy Alexandre Kantorow on 21 March at 19.30 in the Symphonic Hall of the Auditorio Nacional.
For this concert, Kantorow has prepared a recital composed by a romantic vision of past times, immersing the audience in Bachian counterpoint, in Petrarch’s sonnets, in Dante’s Divine Comedy or in the unusual Venetian canals, all under the attentive gaze of Liszt. The personalist vision of the most Renaissance Romantic: Robert Schumann, will crystallise in his Sonata nº1 in F sharp minor, and will even go into the infernal fires capable of destroying everything we know, thanks to the profound feeling of Alexander Scriabin and his Vers la flamme.
