From today until Sunday 27 February, Art Madrid, the only fair located in the ‘Landscape of Light’, recently recognised as a World Heritage Site, will be presented at the Galería de Cristal of CentroCentro Cibeles (calle Montalbán, 1- next to Plaza de Cibeles).
The show will bring together around 40 national and international galleries and will be complemented by a rich calendar sponsored by One Shot Hotels, which will include a programme curated by Natalia Alonso, who will propose a tour of various works exhibited at Art Madrid’22 with the aim of introducing and bringing the public closer to understanding the ecosystem of the art market, as well as a collecting programme run by an expert advisor in the sector. The service aims both to boost the commercial work of the galleries and to offer advice on the acquisition of works of art for new buyers.
Finally, the fair co-organises, together with the video art platform Proyector, a parallel programme centred on video creation, action art and performance. In this edition, this platform will focus on investigating and rethinking the concept of “loop” or “loop” through the pioneers of video art, both from the point of view of creation, distribution and collecting.
