Iberia has completely redesigned its gastronomic offer on short and medium-haul flights to improve the customer experience, with the help of its catering provider DO & CO, according to a press release.
The airline has carried out a transformation of the traditional in-flight purchasing system, digitising the menu card thanks to Immfly, DO & CO’s technological partner. In addition, to ensure safety and hygiene measures, payment is ‘contactless’ by credit card.
In the design of the Business Class menus, Iberia continues to focus on the Mediterranean diet and Spanish flavoured dishes, with high quality raw materials and local seasonal products.
Depending on the time of day, the gastronomic offer ranges from breakfast or snacks to lunch or dinner. Galician-style octopus, Russian salad, vegetable paella or stew are some of the options the airline offers its customers.
For those travelling in Economy Class, Iberia offers the online purchase of fresh menus through Deliverfly, available through its website, and complements its offer for this cabin by recovering the Onboard Purchase service with a renewed menu that includes drinks and sweet and savoury snacks.
With Deliverfly, the airline allows its customers to choose in advance of their flight the menu they want to enjoy on board from a wide variety of fresh, tasty and healthy products, prepared daily in the DO & CO kitchens.
The airline complements its gastronomic offer in the Economy cabin by recovering the Buy on Board service, which includes a new menu with a varied offer of drinks and sweet and savoury snacks.
