As part of the closing ceremony of the 5th edition of the Festival “Oui!, Festival de T(h)eatre en français de Barcelona”, the Instituto Francés of Madrid presents Du silence à l’explosion / From silence to explosion, a play written by Céline Brunelle, tomorrow Thursday at 8pm.
This play explains how French people in solidarity and exile fight together every day, hand in hand, for a dignified life together. The word is distilled throughout the three acts in an inexorable crescendo and uses rap as a radical discourse. Sometimes mixing several languages (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic), the texts explode as a vital necessity. Du silence à l’explosion/ From silence to explosion is a hymn to solidarity and a tribute to the heroes and heroines of our time who have defied all dangers to reach us. A total, multicultural and multimedia show, it tells us how French people in solidarity and exile fight daily, hand in hand, for a dignified life together. Céline Brunelle continues her work as a witness. Engaged since 2014 in the voluntary accompaniment of exiles on French territory, she tells of the daily struggles, those that unite French citizens and exiles from all over the world.
