The Councillor for External Action and Open Government of the Catalan Government, Victoria Alsina, announced on Friday that in 2022 they plan to open more Catalan delegations abroad and said that she does not maintain a “fluid dialogue” with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares.

During an interview on Catalunya Ràdio, reported by Europa Press, the councillor announced the Generalitat’s intention to open more delegations abroad, in addition to the 14 that already exist at present. She argued, in this sense, that it is a matter of reinforcing the European focus and having more presence “in other regions of the world that are strategic for the future of all”.

In addition, he explained that he does not maintain a “fluid” dialogue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, beyond bureaucratic and administrative matters.
