The artistic and general director of the Warmia Philharmonic, the Polish Piotr Sułkowski, will be conducting the Orquesta y Coro Filarmonía on Sunday 6 February at 19.30 to conduct the Requiem Mass in D minor K.626 and the Flute Concerto No. 1 in G major by W. A. Mozart. The soloists of the concert will be Álvaro Octavio (flute), Rebeca Cardiel (soprano), Laura Ortiz (contralto), Francisco Díaz-Carrillo (tenor) and Pedro Llarena (bass).

The tribute designed by the Artistic Director of Filarmonía, Pascual Osa, will begin with the Flute Concerto No. 1 in G Major, written by Mozart in 1778. Its structure consists of three movements connected by musical bridges. Afterwards, the musicians and choristers of the Orchestra and Choir, conducted by the Polish maestro Piotr Sułkowski, will perform Mozart’s best-known requiem: Requiem Mass in D minor K.626. Due to his illness, Mozart was unable to finish the work, which was taken over by the composer Franz Xaver Süssmayr. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
