‘Meet Vincent Van Gogh’ continues at Espacio Ibercaja Delicias

January 3, 2022
in Culture & Art, Leisure

Since last September, the Espacio Delicias in Madrid has been presenting the only official exhibition created by the experts at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Meet Vincent Van Gogh.

This exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to learn a little more about the genius of one of the painters who marked a before and after in the history of contemporary art. Through an endless number of multi-sensory and audiovisual scenes designed for all ages, visitors can take a journey into the past through the life and work of Vincent Van Gogh. With the aim of bringing the painter’s work to every corner of the world, the experts at the Van Gogh Museum have created an immersive experience in which the most important moments of his turbulent life are retraced, as well as realistic recreations of his work.

Meet Vincent Van Gogh does not exhibit the original works, but instead you can touch, feel and look through a microscope at faithful reproductions of his most famous paintings to get a little closer to the true story of one of history’s most intriguing characters.
