Yesterday, Casa Árabe in Madrid hosted the presentation of the book Cotton Under My Feet, by Lebanese artist Walid Raad.

The book Cotton Under My Feet brings together images and stories about his exhibition of the same name at the Thyssen Museum. During the meeting, Walid Raad presented images, stories and concepts linked to his three ongoing projects: The Atlas Group (1989-2004), Scratching On Things I Could Disavow and Sweet Talk: Beirut (commissioned works).

The catalogue of the exhibition Walid Raad: Cotton Under My Feet (Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid) was also presented. Guillermo Solana, director of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Daniela Zyman, curator of the exhibition and co-editor of the book, accompanied Raad during the presentation. The event was also attended by Irene Lozano, Director of Casa Árabe. The exhibition will be open to the public until 23 January 2022.
