The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, met yesterday with representatives of Spanish Think Tanks to address, among other issues, “the international prospects in 2022 for Spain”.

“I have reiterated the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the work of the Think Tanks,” the minister explained via his official Twitter account. “We have discussed the international perspectives in 2022 for Spain, including global vaccination and the NATO Summit, as well as the role of Think Tanks in the analysis of foreign policy issues, such as the post-COVID recovery or the European Union Recovery Plan,” he added.

The meeting was attended by Charles Powell, Director of the Real Instituto Elcano; Haizam Amirah-Fernández, Analyst on the Mediterranean and the Arab World at the Real Instituto Elcano; Anna Ayuso, Researcher for Latin America at CIDOB; Nacho Torreblanca, Director of ECFR Madrid; Vicente Palacio, from Fundación Alternativas; Ángel Sanz Carranza, from the Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics (ESADEGeo); Cristina Manzano, Director of Esglobal; Áurea Moltó, Director of Foreign Policy; and José Antonio Sanahuja, Director of the Fundación Carolina.
