Authors: Lasaga Millet, Olga; Barraycoa Martínez, Javier; Rodríguez-Ponga, Rafael (Coord.).

This book, Problemas globales, cinco siglos después de la Primera Vuelta al Mundo, now published electronically and after the summer on paper, summarises texts prepared by specialists who have spent many years dedicated to the study of geopolitics, labour issues, immigration, cultural diversity, development and international relations. Thus, studies and opinions from different disciplines have been brought together to provide a rigorous approach to current global issues and, in particular, migration.

The work is the result of the work carried out by people from various countries and various institutions: the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU (UAO CEU) in Barcelona; the International Platform for Cooperation and Migration (PICM/IPCM), based in Madrid; and the European Centre for Workers’ Questions (EZA), whose operational headquarters are in Königswinter (Germany).
