This afternoon at 6 p.m., the Secretaría General Iberoamericana (SEGIB) will broadcast on its channel the presentation of the book Parity Democracy in Latin America. Three explanatory dimensions, written by Irune Aguirrezábal Quijera.
In questioning the what and how of the Latin American parity process, the author explores a conceptual and contextual analysis of the causes, factors and actors that have been involved in the broad mobilisation towards parity democracy in Latin America. Her passion and conviction are a reflection of her own professional and personal trajectory.
The event will be presented by Marcos Pinta Gama, Ibero-American Secretary General a.i. SEGIB; Ignacio Polanco, President of the Fundación Santillana, and Matilde Gurrera Roig, UAM Library of Governance and Human Rights.
