The Teatro Bellas Artes presents the play ‘El perdón’, with Juana Acosta

From 12 to 23 January at the Teatro Bellas Artes in Madrid, the company LOSDEDAE presents the play El perdón, starring Juana Acosta and Chevi Muraday, with texts by Juan Carlos Rubio.

What is left after the violent death of a father who has taught his 16-year-old daughter to love life, art and humanity? “In the midst of the transition to adulthood, my father was murdered. Violence imposed its law, robbing me of my will to live, to feel, to dance”. This is the testimonial starting point of this show where unanswered questions, the search for meaning in the face of what has no name and the need to let go of pain are a vehicle for recognising our shared humanity in all its light and shadow. How to shorten the circle of violence in order not to perpetuate it, the darkness of certain questions and the freedom found by those who decide to love instead of hate. Resignifying pain and finding a liberating perspective. To be born again, to live again, to feel again, to dance again. And to forgive. Tickets already on sale at this link.
