Italian Embassy’s New Talents in Italian Cuisine Competition

December 10, 2021
in Culture & Art, Leisure

The Embassy of Italy, as part of the promotional actions related to the VI Italian Cuisine Week in Spain, launches the fourth edition of the competition Prepare your Future-New Talents of Italian Cuisine, which is part of ITmakeES Food & Wine, an initiative that fully responds to the philosophy of “ITmakES” (Italy and Spain doing together), with which to create new bridges of effective collaboration between the civil societies of the two countries.

The formula used aims to train, give visibility and offer opportunities to young chefs, both Spanish and Italian in Spain, who wish to specialise in Italian cuisine by attending theoretical courses in 2 of the best cooking schools in Spain. Spain, Italy (the International Italian Cooking School ALMA and, as a novelty in this edition, the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners ICIF) combined with internships in prestigious Italian restaurants. In order to publicise the competition to all cooking schools in the country and to all potential young chefs interested, the entire network of honorary Consulates will be activated, in addition to the General Consulate in Barcelona. More information in this pdf and Annexes 1 and 2.
