Madrid City Council’s Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport has published a new free illustrated map showing the main points of the Christmas programme designed this year under the slogan “Let’s celebrate the reunion!”.
Madrid will celebrate Christmas with the municipal spaces, squares and streets offering a host of proposals designed for people of all ages. The map, which brings together the 15 highlights of the Christmas programme, will be printed in centres managed by Madrid Destino, other Madrid City Council facilities and on this website you can consult the entire programme of cultural activities for the festive season. To round off these proposals, the Christmas Market in the Plaza Mayor can be visited until 31 December. In its 104 colourful stalls, citizens and tourists will find all kinds of Christmas products: baubles, jokes, tinsel, lights, masks, musical instruments and thousands of figures for the Nativity Scene.
