This evening at 7pm, Casa Mediterráneo in Alicante presents the audiovisual project Mediterranean Women, a series that deals with the women who inhabit the different countries of the Mediterranean Sea.
Through a journey along the shores of the three continents that bathe its waters, we will meet women from different professions and walks of life who show their concerns and the roles they play in the societies they inhabit, as well as their goals in life and visions of contemporary women.
The presentation includes the premiere of the documentary Mediterranean Women: Turkey, produced by Casa Mediterráneo, the Spanish Embassy in Turkey, the Cervantes Institute in Istanbul and El Campello Town Council. This is the first episode of the series dedicated to Turkish women, inhabitants of the easternmost shore of the Mediterranean, located at the cultural crossroads of two continents: Europe and Asia. Afterwards, there will be a discussion with the participant of the documentary Ceren Çerçiler, founder of Inside Counsels, Co-Founder of the Bosphorus Summit and producer of the documentary In this climate; and the journalist Sonia Marco, director of the Mediterranean Women project and executive producer and scriptwriter of the documentary dedicated to Turkish women.
