16 directors of Instituto Cervantes centers change their destination

A total of 16 directors of Instituto Cervantes centers will move to other centers in the network, the Spanish cultural diplomacy institution announced yesterday.

 

According to the resolution of the General Secretariat after the internal call of November 11, the approved changes, which will be effective next September, are the following: Pilar Tena (current director of Utrecht) will head the Athens center, María Jesús García (Casablanca) will move to Bordeaux, Juan Pedro de Basterrechea (Toulouse) to Casablanca, Beatriz Hernanz (Palermo) to Krakow, Luisa Castro (Bordeaux) to Dublin and Fernando Martínez-Vara de Rey (Krakow) to Istanbul.

 

Cristina Conde de Beroldingen (Athens) will head the Stockholm center, Víctor Ugarte (Tokyo) will head the London center, Inmaculada Jiménez Caballero (Oran) the Lyon center, Juan Carlos Reche (Rome) the Palermo center, Gonzalo Manglano (Istanbul) the Prague center, and José Vicente Ballester (Porto Alegre) the Rio de Janeiro center. Finally, Ignacio Peyró (London) will move as director to Rome, Víctor Andresco (Dublin) to Tokyo, Luisa Fernanda Garrido (Prague) to Toulouse, and Alberto Gascón (Stockholm) to the Utrecht center.
