Round table at the Instituto Goethe on ‘Democracy in Europe’

Organised by the German and French embassies in Spain in collaboration with the pro-European youth association Equipo Europa and moderated by Enric Juliana, deputy director of La Vanguardia, the Instituto Goethe is holding a round table discussion this evening at 7 p.m. in its auditorium entitled Democracy in Europe: How to believe in tomorrow?

 

At the event, reflections will be exchanged on democracies in Europe, as well as on the commitment of the younger generations to the EU. Participants will include Grzegorz Nocko (pictured), Director of the Berlin office of the Hertie Stiftung Foundation, area “Strengthening Democracy”; Cynthia Fleury, philosopher and psychoanalyst, Professor of Humanities and Health at the Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers and Professor at the École nationale supérieure des Mines in Paris; Daniel Innerarity, professor of political philosophy, Ikerbasque researcher at the University of the Basque Country and director of the Institute for Democratic Governance, and Julia Fernandéz Arribas, founder and president of Equipo Europa. The capacity of the room will be limited.
