Beyond the hustle and bustle of the cities there is a fabulous natural life. Hidden from the human eye, millions of plants and animals offer a spectacle full of magnificence, grace, ferocity, candour and humour. The documentary “Untamed Romania” is a 90-minute foray into this astonishing universe, the areas of greatest interest being the Carpathian Mountains and the Danube Delta. The images take your breath away, the scientific information about the flora and fauna is well dosed, the music was composed specifically for the film, all elements that explain the unusual popularity of the production. Shot in some of the most biodiverse places in Europe, the documentary takes a different look at a continent we thought we already knew everything about.
