On Thursday 18 November from 5 to 8.30 p.m., the Universitas senioribus CEU (calle Tutor, 35) inaugurates the Conference against disinformation, practical courses to identify and combat fake news.
The event will be presented by Miguel de Oyarzábal, vice-president of the Jefferson Circle Association. The course will be opened by María García-Carrillo, Director of Universitas senioribus CEU, and Conrad Tribble (in the photo), Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy. There will also be a workshop on disinformation, how to contrast information, given by Roger Cuartielles, LearnToCheck, and a round table on disinformation in politics, moderated by David Alandete, ABC correspondent in Washington, with the participation of Paloma Baena, director of Next Generation EU, Llorente y Cuenca consultants; Carlos Hernández-Echevarría, coordinator of Maldita. es; Juan Luis Manfredi, Prince of Asturias Chair, Georgetown University (USA) and Pedro Rodríguez, Professor of International Relations, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.
