Aceituna Fest, the largest gastronomic festival with olives as the star ingredient, is being held in establishments in different Spanish provinces. This initiative by Aceitunas de España began two years ago, when great figures in the Iberian kitchen accepted the challenge of reinventing table olives. An unprecedented effort in the country that produces the most and best olives in the world.
The creativity, experience and know-how of the chefs have made it possible to generate fifty signature olives, which a committee of professional chefs and 100 anonymous consumers, belonging to the Consumolab panel of tasters at AINIA, chose to be the basis of the gastronomic experience that can be enjoyed in the best bars and terraces in the first wave of the Aceituna Fest: Madrid (from 18 Oct. to 5 Dec.); Barcelona (from 25 Oct. to 05 Dec.); Valencia (from 10 Nov. to 29 Nov.); Seville (from 10 Nov. to 29 Nov.); Malaga (from 8 Nov. to 8 Dec.), and Bilbao (from 8 Nov. to 8 Dec.).
