To celebrate the recognition of the Landscape of Light as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the first Madrid edition of LuzMadrid. Festival Internacional de la Luz de Madrid, which will dress up the most emblematic corners and buildings of the capital with various artistic interventions.
This unique experience will take place on the aforementioned days between 8 p.m. and midnight. Neighbours and visitors to Madrid will be able to choose the time they want to come and the area or areas they want to visit, without sticking to a fixed itinerary. Casa de América, located on the map of the Landscape of Light, will also be part of this initiative, which will feature light as a means of artistic transformation of the urban landscape. An original experience that combines spectacle, heritage, architecture, art… and which is already being held in cities such as Amsterdam, Moscow and London. The Palacio de Cibeles, the Puerta de Alcalá, the Retiro Park, the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, the Metrópolis Building and the Puerta del Sol are some of the other spaces and buildings that will be intervened with different installations of light, colour, video, mapping, installations and artificial intelligence.
