As part of the parallel activities organised in collaboration with the Teatro Real in Madrid during the production of La Cenerentola, the Instituto Italiano de Cultura is screening this evening at 7pm the 2017 animated film Gatta Cenerentola, directed by Alessandro Rak, Ivan Cappiello, Marino Guarnieri and Dario Sansone.

Admission is free, with prior booking request, writing to confirmaciones.iicmadrid@gmail.com and indicating name, surname and telephone contact of all persons for whom the booking is requested and in the subject “Gatta Cenerentola”. Original version with English subtitles. Cinderella grew up on the Megaride, a huge ship that has been docked in the port of Naples for more than 15 years. Her father, the ship’s wealthy owner and scientist, died, taking with him to his grave the ship’s technological secrets and the dream of a revival of the port. Since then, the little girl has lived in the shadow of her fearsome stepmother and her six perfidious daughters.
