This afternoon at 6.30 p.m., the Fundación Alternativas is celebrating Spanish Cinema Day, in commemoration of the end of the filming of Esa pareja feliz, directed by Bardem and Berlanga.

They will be joined by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, film director and trustee of the Fundación Alternativas, and Ángeles González-Sinde, screenwriter and film director, currently president of the Royal Board of Trustees of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, to discuss some of the issues currently affecting the film industry. The Foundation also wishes to highlight the work carried out by professionals in the sector and their efforts to continue building our cultural heritage. Diego López Garrido, executive vice-president of the Fundación Alternativas, will give the welcome address, and Inma Ballesteros, director of the Fundación Alternativas’ Observatory on Culture and Communication, will moderate the event. The event can be followed on YouTube. More information on the Foundation’s website.
