Tomorrow Thursday at 7pm in its Sala Iberia, Casa América will screen the documentary Un orgullo para Costa Rica y el mundo (A pride for Costa Rica and the world), directed by Luis Bruzón Delgado. Before the screening there will be a dialogue moderated by Ana Helena Chacón Echevarría (in the photo), ambassador of Costa Rica.

Pre-Columbian stone spheres are the main attraction of a trip to four ancient settlements in the south of Costa Rica, which were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2014. The visit combines many elements. The natural beauty of the landscape introduces us to trails and mangroves through which a combination of archaeological knowledge, contemporary history, imaginary stories and enriching conversations with the people who live near this cultural and natural treasure. The scientific discourse and the message about the importance of conserving and promoting heritage assets are combined with visual aesthetics in a documentary aimed at all audiences.
