As part of the public diplomacy campaign of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina denominated 12 Days of Peace, the Embassy of the Balkan country is presenting a virtual exhibition by Bosnian sculptor Adis Elias Fejzic until 2 October. The exhibition can be seen at this link.

In the exhibition, entitled Search for Symbols of Peace, the author presents part of his artistic work dedicated to the history, culture and art of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Adis Elias Fejzic is a Bosnian-Australian sculptor, born in Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Sarajevo and obtained a BA and MA in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Bosnian capital. He worked as a professor of sculpture and drawing at the School of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, and was an assistant to Professor Kenan Solaković at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. He is currently a freelance artist and research assistant to Professor Hariz Halilovich (Monash University and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia). In his doctoral research, Addis analysed the art of Stećak (medieval Bosnian sepulchral sculpture) in the context of contemporary artistic and socio-anthropological conditions and also (re)updated Stećak as his own contemporary creative metaphor and expression.
