On 28 September, the Teatros del Canal, in its Sala Verde at 7.45pm, presents the folk-pop shamanic music group Ak Dan Gwang Chil (ADG7), a captivating concert to attract the positive energy that comes from instinct and the minyo.
Ak Dan Gwang Chil (ADG7) is a multi-award winning shamanic folk-pop music group composed of six traditional Korean music performers and three powerful female folk singers. ADG7 has a repertoire ranging from sacred, shamanic and secular music to minyo, folk music typical of the Hwanghae-do region in the western province of North Korea. ADG7 was born in 2015, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule.
